Do you accept NHIF from individuals?
Yes. We offer services to NHIF clients in the civil service or nation police service at our Meridian Equator Hospital, Meridian Galana Hospital & Meridian Kiserian Hospital.
How much does the Maternity Package cost, for both spontaneous vaginal delivery and Cesarean section?
The price depends on the package and room wing chosen. Spontaneous vaginal delivery ranges from Ksh. 55,000-130,000/=, and a C-section ranges from Ksh. 168,000-318,000/=. Both of these options include a delivery by a doctor as opposed to a midwife. NHIF covers for Ksh. 2,700/= on the daily bed rate, but if you or your spouse is a civil servant and you are registered under the NHIF card, then the coverage may be more depending on what NHIF authorizes. Your private insurance can also be used but only up to the extent of your limit.
